In her spare time, Terrie and her husband Larry raise Belgian Draft Horses and are active members of the Kansas Draft Horse and Mule Association.

K-9 Kenzie - A Blue Heeler mix who was born in Dec 2001 and adopted from the Humane Society in 2002. Kenzie is certified with SCEMK9 in Human Remains Detection. She has been involved in SAR since 2003. Matt's wife, Alaine, had previously certified with kenzie in Area Search (40 acre night) through another SAR team. Kenzie has her Canine Good Citizen (CGC) certificate as well as the Therapy Dog International (TDI) certificate.

A deaf Red Heeler (Australian Cattle dog) who was born in march 2004. Foxy was adopted from the Cowley County Humane Society. She is training in tracking/trailing where the lack of hearing seems an asset instead of a deficiency. Foxy has her Canine Good Citizen (CGC) certificate as well as the Therapy Dog International (TDI) certificate

Molson has his Canine Good Citizen (CGC) certificate as well as the Therapy Dog Therapy Dogs Incorporated, Inc. certificate.

He has been certified by the Veteran's Administration for the Mass Decontamination team

He has volunteered for the Salvation Army Emergency Disaster Services for the past 6 years and continues to volunteer
