Competition obedience for 18 years. 6 years K-9 SAR experience. FEMA NIMS IS-100 Amateur radio license KC0DZA. Basic High Angle Rescue Certified. South Central Kansas Kennel Club member, Obedience Instructor. Terrie has achieved one Companion Dog Excellent title, and a Utility Dog title.
The same dog also received some Utility Dog Excellent legs.

Several AKC Companion Dog titles on dogs ranging from a Smooth Coat Fox Terrier to a Rottweiler.
Terrie has participated in multiple tracking/trailing seminars hosted by TASK, NBTI and the Kansas Police Dog Association.
In her spare time, Terrie and her husband breed and show Belgian Draft Horses.

EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT OFFICE
The following are those individuals who are employed by Sedgwick County and oversee many of the the Team's activities. Our unit is very privileged to work with these talented and professional individuals.
Bob Lamkey, Public Safety Director
Bob Lamkey has been the Director of the Public Safety Division since the position was created in 1999. The Division consists of 911, EMS, County Fire, Fleet, Emergency Management, and Regional Forensic Science Center Departments. Mr. Lamkey has a Bachelors Degree in Biology and a Masters Degree in Management. He spent 24 years as an aviator and staff officer in the United States Air Force before joining Sedgwick County in 1996.
Randy Duncan, Emergency Management Director
Mr. Duncan is the Director for Sedgwick County (Wichita) Kansas Department of Emergency Management. He is also a past president of the International Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM) and currently chairs their Domestic Preparedness Issues Committee. Kansas Certified Emergency Manager in 1992, an IAEM CEM®[1] in 1993 (in the first graduating class of CEMs) and an Oklahoma Certified Emergency Manager in 1994. He is a member of the International Association of Counter Terrorism and Security Professionals and has been in local government since 1986. Randy has administered five presidential declarations of disaster -four in KS and one in OK. The most recent was the May 3, 1999 Sedgwick County Tornado. He has written the introduction to a book, Living Safe in an Unsafe World: The Complete Guide to Family Preparedness by Kate Kelly, published in August 2000 by NAI. Randy has had the unique experience of traveling to other countries to help others develop Emergency Operating Plans and was very busy in NYC during the 9-11-01 Crisis working alongside Emergency Planners to help them recover from the terrorist disaster. He also has been part of the planning of the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City and traveled extensively otherwise.
John Crosby
Operations Officer for Sedgwick County Emergency Management. He has been involved with or responded to natural and technological hazards including train derailments, ice storms, blizzards, severe thunderstorms resulting in wind, tornado, and flood damage, fires, grain elevator explosions, drought conditions, water system failures and hazardous chemical incidents.
Jack L. Kegley, KCEM
Deputy Director, Emergency Management. Served in the United States Air Force twenty years, from March 1967 to April 1987 at which time he retired. In August 1989 he started with Sedgwick County Disaster Management (now Emergency Management) as a Disaster Officer. In January 1992 he was promoted to Deputy Director, the position he currently serves in. He served five years on the Board of Directors for the Kansas Emergency Management Association. Two years as Area Vice President, one year as President Elect, one year as President and one year as Past President. Kansas Certified Emergency Manager. Radiological Officer/Instructor and a Radiation Source Kit Custodian.
Rick Shellenbarger, KCEM
Mr. Shellenbarger is a certified Kansas Certified Emergency Manager (KCEM) as a Regional Hazardous Materials Planner in the Sedgwick County Emergency Management office and has over 15 years of emergency planning and response experience. Mr. Shellenbarger has a B.S. degree in Business Management from Friends University and is also a graduate of the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA) Professional Development Series (PDS). He is certified by the Kansas Division of Emergency Management as a Radiological Officer/Instructor and currently serves as the treasurer of the Kansas Emergency Management Association (KEMA), and as a District 6 Advisory Board Member for the City of Wichita. Achievements include being published in the International Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM) Bulletin.
